I decided as a mother , while my children are still toddlers to try many different foods they wouldn't like when they're older . Honestly it was not until i become a mother that i liked veggies . Now that i think about it is because , we had basic veggies straight from the can or raw and boiled with just salt and pepper. In our household we give veggies at every dinner meal and sometimes we try to make it more "interesting" to our toddlers. Like adding something they do like into the vegetable portion. One ingredient all toddlers love is cheese and that is of any kind , mac and cheese , string cheese , cheese pizza , cheese sticks , you name it . But have you thought about giving your children Cheesy veggies ? I had cheddar broccoli before so i decided to try cheesy cauliflower for the kids. Believe it or not cauliflower is their favorite vegetable.
So if you never had cauliflower and wondering what it is , no it is not a white version of a broccoli it is actually another vegetable broccoli is more greener and spread out as for cauliflower is bunched together and maybe "bland" tasting . Both do adsorb so much flavor which is why you can put them in alot of recipes . If you are interested in the health facts broccoli is proven to be more healthier as far as nutrients and cauliflower wins in less calories , carbohydrates and sugars. Enough of that enjoy the recipe !
For a full cauliflower :
Wash and break down into pieces small enough to enjoy in little bites.
Pat down in a paper towel + add a pinch of salt and pepper all over
Heat the oven to 350 degrees and bake for 30mins
Take out and add your choice of cheese . ( I used four cheese shredded cheese)
Put back in the oven for 2-3 mins + add some green onions and ENJOY
